Summer Walker has some words for Joe Budden. The “Girls Need Love” singer responded on Thursday night (Oct. 30) after being labelled “too nuts and psycho to ever find love” on the rapper-podcaster’s self-titled show.

Butch lesbian. Walker once wrote, “You tell it, sista!” in a now-deleted post on X. “You and your close female friends keep delivering us more spicy gossip on this album, Finally Over It.” She concluded her teaser by announcing the release date for her forthcoming long-play album, which is scheduled to debut on November 14.

Budden responded fairly quickly. The artist behind “Pump It Up” stated that she had been “trying to post this for hours” and then said, “Lemme just assist you.” View what remains of their conversation.

For those unacquainted with recent episodes of “The Joe Budden Podcast,” the New Jersey native and his co-hosts have recently discussed Walker’s alleged animosity towards men and relationships. “It’s reassuring as listeners to know that some of the R&B female vocalists we rely on for breakup songs are probably too unstable to ever experience a successful relationship.” “We’re going to be eating for a while,” Budden stated. “It’s hopeless for these people with Summer and SZA.”

He then referenced a clip from Walker’s interview with Speedy Morman, in which she cautioned women, “If you attempt to ride or die, you will indeed perish.” The singer responded to the host-journalist’s claim that not all relationships end badly by saying, “I’m not a man-hater.” To be honest, I’ve just lost interest in dating men. You all can provide, but can you like them?

Following Ice’s claim that one of Walker’s former partners “did a number” on her, Budden humorously inquired, “Which guy?” From there, he mentioned her previous relationships, including the well-known incident involving Lil Meech and his supposed “cousin” — the one he was caught helping carry groceries — as well as her former boyfriend, Larry Williams.

Beyond the drama, Walker’s Finally Over It will be ours officially next month. The 18-track album will feature previously released tracks such as “Heart Of A Woman” and the highly anticipated “F**k My Type.”
