Summer Walker has been putting in a tremendous amount of effort lately. The singer of the song “Girls Need Love” amusingly encouraged her fans on Wednesday, October 8, to purchase her upcoming album, Finally Over It, saying “I can’t keep doing this anymore.”

Walker quipped in a video posted on her social media platforms, “Please let me go.” They’ve been treating me like a slave for months. She proceeded to share a list of everything she has been involved in over the past few months, including the Chris Brown tour to Africa, the content shoot, and everything else.

“Walker added that he wants to go home, see his children, and simply unwind, before a member of the crew off-camera interjected, ‘Inmate, shut up in there.'” The Grammy-nominated singer appropriately filmed the video in a jail cell, which may be for an upcoming music video project she is currently working on.

You’ve got to purchase my album because I’m unable to continue this way anymore. “Walker said she’s too dense to get out of this situation,” Walker added, before calling on Interscope Records and Tyler Perry to come to her aid. View the video that is provided below.

Unfortunately, the release date for Finally Over It has yet to be announced. The lead single, “Heart Of A Woman,” starring Kordell Beckham and Serena Page, was released in October 2024, accompanied by a lyric video. Walker and NLE Choppa played the roles of love interests around two months later in the official visual companion. She made her debut with “Spend It” in May.

Walker suggested that album fans could receive it by the end of fall for the optimistic. Following a Stan account’s pledge for her to cancel Finally Over It, the singer responded to the post with maple leaf and fallen leaf emojis via a quote tweet. In addition, the “Body” artist obscured the covers of her two most recent long-playing records — Still Over It and Over It — on streaming platforms this week.
