Summer Walker Announces ‘Finally Over It’ Release Date, Confirms Latto Collaboration And Tour Schedules

Summer Walker’s “Finally Over It” finally has an official release date. The singer announced on Wednesday, October 15, that her long-awaited third studio album will arrive on November 14.

Walker took a lie detector test in a six-minute video on her YouTube channel, answering several questions about the project. Someone inquired if Latto would appear on Finally Over It, and she responded truthfully, “Yes.” The “Girls Need Love” hitmaker also confirmed that other female rappers will be featured, although she failed to mention any specific artists. Some of her “Over It Radio” guests, such as Sexyy Red or Yung Miami, may attend, but for now, fans will have to wait and see.

Walker was asked if London was on track, referring to a possible collaboration with the father of her eldest child, Bubbles. She categorically disagreed. The producer was involved in her initial two albums, Over It and Still Over It, the latter of which he was credited on even after they broke up.

Walker also confirmed that one or more artists she previously collaborated with would feature on her 2019 debut, Finally Over It. This 18-track project notably features Bryson Tiller, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Usher, and Drake, making it exciting to see who she will bring back this time.

Walker replied “Maybe” when asked if she would collaborate with Chris Brown, but she did admit that she intends to tour again following her opening set on his “Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour.” Last month, the Atlanta singer expressed gratitude to the “Residuals” artist for having her as a guest. She’s of the opinion that nothing anyone can say to her is of any consequence anymore. I’m satisfied with life.

Prior to the release of Finally Over It, Walker had put out songs such as “Heart Of A Woman” and “Spend It.” According to the album’s pre-save link on Apple Music, it appears the latter song was not included in the final tracklist.
