Spyro Discovers Romance As He Shares His Engagement On Instagram

Nigerian musician Olusanmi David, who is better known as Spyro, has shared the exciting news of his engagement to his girlfriend, Janet Atom, in a warm post on Instagram that has gotten a lot of attention online.

The singer of “Who’s Your Guy” posted photos from his proposal along with a sweet message about their relationship. Spyro explained that he met Janet at a club in Lagos on March 30, 2024, at exactly 2:48 a.m. He calls that night the moment when his wish for a partner came true. He wrote, “Thank you for saying YES, my sweet J. I can’t wait to spend my whole life with you.”

Spyro mentioned that since they met, he has felt really happy every single day. He also said that finding love where he least expected it shows that fate can be surprising. Many fans and friends quickly filled the comments with congratulations, although some couldn’t help but make fun of the fact that he found love in a club. One fan joked, “Some sisters are praying in church while some guys are looking for love in different places,” and others laughed about changing their own spots in hopes of meeting someone special.

This announcement comes just a few days after a video of Spyro kissing a woman went viral, which led some people to criticize him for not fitting his “Jesus boy” image. In the past, Spyro has also gained attention for complimenting BBNaija star Nengi Hampson, even joking that he might go without eating just because of her.
