At the top of the list is Asake’s 2023 hit, “Remember.” This song has achieved the status of the most-streamed track in Spotify Nigeria’s history, further establishing Asake as a leading figure in the Nigerian music scene.

This announcement coincides with a notable increase in digital music consumption in Nigeria. Spotify’s data indicates that local streaming has risen by nearly 300 percent over the past two years, illustrating that Nigerian audiences are increasingly engaged with domestic music.

Asake holds a significant presence in the charts, occupying four positions in the top ten, underscoring his influence in the street-pop and Afro-fusion genres.
