South African Rapper Gigi Lamayne Secures Her First Gig As A DJ In Europe

Gigi Lamayne’s on-stage transformation is already yielding positive results.

The award-winning rapper has now officially included “DJ” in her name, combining her own popular songs with tracks from artists she admires, and developing a distinctive performance style that is rapidly gaining popularity.

“Isn’t it well-known that I’m now doing it this way?” I’m a rapper and a DJ, correct? The concept is that I’m literally mixing my own tracks and music from individuals I admire or friends of Gigi Lamayne, she explained to her audience.

The bold switch has now unlocked global opportunities.

Gigi revealed with pride that one European gig had quickly gained momentum, resulting in multiple bookings, which marked her first official tour across the continent.

“She mentioned that she received a booking to perform in Europe, which then generated another booking, and that booking led to yet another.”
