Paul Okoye, a well-known Nigerian singer also known as Rudeboy, has stated that he intends to pursue a legal case after a woman on X (formerly Twitter) alleged that he physically attacked a much younger domestic employee.

The claim made by a user named Ayomide Agboola quickly gained traction after X other users mentioned Rudeboy in the discussion.

Screenshots and online reactions show that Agboola alleged Rudeboy physically attacked the household staff, and he allegedly sent his then-wife and a sister-in-law out of the house after the incident became public. The accused poster suspended her social media activities shortly after the tweet started spreading, but not before other users had forwarded images of her to Rudeboy.

Rudeboy responded strongly to the claim, rejecting it and vowing to use “every necessary means, power, resources, and funds” to locate the individual who posted the statement and initiate legal proceedings. He stated his intention to hold her responsible and “use you as an example,” pointing out that she should “leave X” if she wanted to avoid the consequences.

To date, neither Rudeboy nor the woman who made the allegation has supplied independent proof to back up their accounts of what happened, and no official police or court documents have been released publicly.
