Snoop Dogg’s Netflix Halftime Show Combined Hip Hop, Festive Atmosphere, And Unexpected Guests

Snoop Dogg keeps his fans intrigued. On Thursday, December 25, the Long Beach rapper headlined Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday Live, featuring a diverse guest lineup that included Andrea Bocelli, Lainey Wilson, and various holiday performances.

During the halftime show of the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings game, Snoop’s set, titled “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party,” was introduced by Martha Stewart. The performance showcased a mix of Hip Hop, country, K-pop, and classical music.

The show began with Snoop performing classic tracks from his collaboration with Dr. Dre, including “The Next Episode” and “Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang.” He then introduced singers EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, and REI AMI, who performed “The Twelve Days Of Christmas.”

Snoop returned to rap with “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Who Am I? (What’s My Name)?” During the first song, he was joined by Tonio Armani, a soul singer from Death Row Records. Lainey Wilson made an entrance, riding in on the Snoopmobile to perform “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” while her outfit seemed to nod to Beyoncé’s upcoming Christmas NFL Halftime show.

The finale reinforced Snoop’s image as a family-friendly entertainer. Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo sang Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas.” They were joined by Snoop, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI, and Wilson. Although Snoop did not sing, he added to the festive atmosphere with a red, fur-trimmed double-breasted suit.

Regardless of opinions, Snoop Dogg fulfilled his role effectively.
