Skrilla – Doot Doot (6-7 Remix) ft. G Herbo

Only a small number of rap songs were memed in 2025. Immediately coming to mind is GELO (LiAngelo Ball) known as “Tweaker.” The single dropped in early February and secured the former NBA prospect a highly lucrative recording contract with Universal Music Group. Incidentally, a different song also received the same level of attention and was released just one day after.

The song “Doot Doot” by Skrilla is from Philadelphia. Similar to “Tweaker,” the track gained immense popularity via short-form content on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Interestingly, the comparable patterns do not come to an end there. Skrilla’s record was featured in several stitched NBA clips, most notably with LaMelo, LiAngelo’s younger brother.

The peculiarity of “6-7″ lies in the fact that the Charlotte Hornets’ point guard stands 6’7” tall, which explains its widespread meme status. The Skrilla track is incredibly dark and violent, despite the mention of “Baby Shark”. The track’s got a strong drill influence, evident in the skeletal beat designed by 1ellis.

It isn’t much of a shock to see G Herbo featured on a remix of “Doot Doot.” He smoothly fits onto the dark song with aggressive vocals, flows, and some street slang.

“6-7” has seen less usage in the latter part of 2025. We wouldn’t be surprised to see an increase in popularity on social media yet again.
