Ski Mask The Slump God – Catch Me Outside 2

Ski Mask The Slump God Catch Me Outside 2

Ski Mask The Slump God is revisiting 2018 with his newest release, “Catch Me Outside 2.” For those who have been following his career since that time, this track stands out as one of his significant hits. It is notable in the Florida native’s discography for sampling Missy Elliott’s “She’s a B*tch,” and with this sequel, Ski Mask pays tribute to the original artist.

In this iteration, the creative maverick has chosen to sample the femcee’s 2003 track from This Is Not A Test!, “Ragtime Interlude / I’m Really Hot.” In addition to incorporating samples from a specific artist, Ski Mask also includes references to his previous work, You Will Regret (Reloaded).

If you take a look at the “quotable lyrics” provided below, you will notice he alludes to the chorus while making some modifications as well.

It is indeed refreshing to hear from him again so soon. Ski Mask had previously taken an extended break before making his comeback last year with the album 11th Dimension. It had been almost six years since his last studio album, STOKELEY, which was also released in 2018.

Since that extensive 21-track collection, he has been striving to release music more regularly. He has contributed features to Denzel Curry’s King Of The Mischievous South project, collaborated with Rich Brian, and worked with Kyle Richh of 41.

We can only hope that this track marks the beginning of another project rollout for him, but let us not get ahead of ourselves (just yet). Be sure to listen to “Catch Me Outside 2” now.
