In a sorrowful note, singer KS1 Malaika expressed that he never imagined his mother would leave without a goodbye.
Fuji artist Sulaimon Adekunle, known as KS1 Malaika, has denied reports about his mother’s death that spread widely on social media. His brother, Azeez Malaika, who is also a musician, shared the news on his Instagram on Monday, September 2, 2024. He wished her eternal peace and felt that it was not for him to question God. Many entertainers, including Mistura Asunramu, Desola Afod, and Olayinka Solomon, have conveyed their condolences.
Many assumed that Azeez and Sulaimon were brothers with the same mother, leading them to send their sympathies to the Fuji singer as well. He shared that his mother is alive, doing well, and healthy. Singer KS1 Malaika mentioned that he and Azeez might be related by blood, but they do not have the same mother. He wrote:

My mother is Alive well and healthy.
