Nigerian singer Ruger has launched his highly anticipated track, “Jay Jay.”
The upbeat track “Jay Jay” showcases Ruger’s melodic vocals and versatility, also demonstrating his artistic development.
Ruger is referencing Jay Jay Okocha in his song, singing about skills that involve balling and dribbling, and even sporting a Nigerian football jersey before the song’s release.
Ruger’s voice in the song “Jay Jay” is characterised by a textured and charismatic tone, effectively conveying the lyrics with a captivating and relatable sense of poise.
The song’s production, which was created by Kukbeatz, showcases a skilled combination of Afro-pop and contemporary Afrobeat styles.
Jay Jay is the latest release from Ruger, coming after the success of his previous single, “Toma Toma,” which included a collaboration with Tiwa Savage.
“Jay Jay” is scheduled to release before Ruger’s upcoming album, which is expected to be released later this year under his label, Blownboy Entertainment.
