Rihanna is now officially a mother of three children. On Thursday, September 24, the “Needed Me” singer revealed that she and A$AP Rocky had welcomed a new family member, a baby girl named Rocki Irish Mayers.

“RiRi captioned Rocki’s Instagram debut on September 13, 2025.” She wore a pink onesie and was surrounded by pink bows. A subsequent slide on the carousel featured a pair of tiny boxing gloves placed across white sheets.

In the comments section, numerous fans along with other celebrities extended their congratulations to Rihanna on the significant news. One person extended a warm welcome, saying “Welcome to the Navy family, princess!” while Victoria Monét simply wrote, “Congratulations!”

Interestingly enough, in his ELLE feature published on Tuesday (Sept. 23), Rocky revealed he had been hoping for a girl. It’s amusing to think Rocki might have known about the interview before his birth, even if it took place beforehand. He informed the magazine that they were praying for a girl. On our initial visit, we were particularly keen to discover the baby’s sex. The second occasion, we didn’t want to find out. We don’t want to know it until the third time, you know.

Rihanna made public her pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala, where she drew attention in a pinstripe skirt and bustier that highlighted her growing belly. She and Rocky are already parents to two sons, Riot and RZA.

A$AP Rocky may have unintentionally let slip the baby’s gender earlier this year. At the Smurfs world premiere in June, Entertainment Tonight co-host Kevin Frazier inquired, “Is that the girl you have been waiting for?” The rapper replied, “It is, man, it is.” He then held up a Smurfette plush toy and said, “Right here.”

Rihanna was asked a similar question about the gender of her third child. Despite being a bit jet-lagged from her trip, she pretended to enjoy the Smurfs theme. Let’s see if it’s a Smurfette. I’m unsure. The Grammy Award-winning singer quipped, “Could be a Papa Smurf. Who knows?”

Last Wednesday, September 17, Rihanna appeared on the cover of HommeGirls. She proudly displayed her pregnancy bump in cargo shorts, captioning the photo “feat. my next fashion killer”.
