Clipse could potentially receive a Grammy award in February. The brother duo is undoubtedly hopeful. On Thursday, October 2, Pusha T and Malice spoke with Billboard about their hopes for Let God Sort Em Out, their first album in nearly 16 years.

Pusha T expressed the opinion that significant thought and effort have been put into getting things right within the Hip Hop space,” Being nominated and part of that competition – you need the right equipment, I assure you. Everyone wants the hardware. Pharrell, who served as the executive producer of the project, expressed the hope that the committee achieves everything perfectly.

At the Grammy Awards, everything is always on the table. Album of the Year is by no means an impossible goal for Clipse to achieve, despite potentially facing stiffer competition. Although many outstanding projects emerged last year, they could still score nominations in the rap categories.

Let God Sort Em Out might find itself in competition with Kendrick Lamar’s GNX and Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA for a nomination. Additionally, Playboi Carti’s MUSIC and Lil Baby’s WHAM could also be contenders, given their previous chart success. The official nominations announcement is scheduled to arrive on November 7, thereby putting an end to fans’ lengthy period of speculation.

Regardless of the outcome, Pusha T believes a Grammy win would be a “well-deserved full-circle moment” for Clipse. The Grammys undoubtedly represents the pinnacle of musical accomplishment. This is exactly what you do it for, Malice added. It would definitely mean a lot.

Perched atop Pharrell’s bucket list is catching Clipse perform “The Birds Don’t Sing” at the awards ceremony. He admitted that’s all he cares about. The track, a tribute to the late parents of Pusha T and Malice, is one of the most emotionally powerful songs on the project’s 13 tracks. A visual companion for it was released on Tuesday, September 30.

Pharrell appeared to take a lighthearted jab at Kanye West, who had previously posted a video of himself urinating on the gold gramophone. “The Virginia producer quipped, ‘You’ve got people who handle them and urinate on them, and we’re certainly not doing that.'” “We want them for our mothers and fathers.”
