Nigerian artist Portable has reached out to his supporters for prayers and assistance following a series of distressing incidents, including the indefinite postponement of his UK tour and allegations of assault against government officials.

The tour, which was set to occur on February 7 and 8 in London and Glasgow, has been delayed indefinitely. This announcement coincided with reports of a public dispute involving his music mentor, Olamide.

In addition, Portable faces accusations of assaulting government officials who were performing their duties near his Odogwu bar in Ogun State. Eyewitness accounts suggest that Portable allegedly harassed these officials and subsequently attacked them with the assistance of local youths.

Currently, the singer has gone into hiding, with expectations that he may face arrest should he appear in public. Portable has utilized social media to share his perspective, indicating that he must remain out of sight to safeguard his family and property. He concluded his message by urging his fans and followers to pray for him during this challenging time.
