Controversial street-pop artist Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, has responded to the ₦50 million boxing challenge proposed by music executive Soso Soberekon.

This offer was made public during a recent visit by Carter Efe and Peller to billionaire businessman Emeka Okonkwo’s home, who is widely known as E-Money.

In a video that has circulated online, Soberekon stated he was prepared to put ₦50 million “on the table” if Carter agreed to fight Portable.

When questioned about his willingness to face Portable, Carter reportedly replied confidently, indicating he would ensure Portable does not leave the ring unscathed.

However, Portable has expressed that the ₦50 million offer is insufficient. In a new video response, he dismissed the amount as too low, asserting that he has higher demands before agreeing to participate in the fight. He emphasized that the financial terms must be satisfactory, not simply based on pride.

Portable requested an additional luxury car valued at ₦300 million, bringing the total to ₦350 million before he would entertain the idea of the bout. He also referenced his past boxing victories against celebrities to underline his seriousness.

“Soso, ₦50 million is too little. Provide me with ₦50 million plus a car worth ₦300 million, for a total of ₦350 million, and I will defeat Carter Efe decisively. I am the same individual who defeated Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington,” he stated.

With Carter indicating interest and Portable outlining new conditions, fans are closely monitoring the situation to see if this celebrity clash will transition from social media discussions to an actual boxing event. In Nigeria’s entertainment industry, it is clear that there is always excitement when Portable is involved.
