Nigerian musician Portable has raised his concert appearance charges shortly after being released on bail following a recent string of legal issues.

It’s worth noting that the Zazoo Zeh singer was involved in a recent court dispute following allegations of physically attacking government representatives. Following his not guilty plea to the allegations, he was given bail of N2 million.

Following his release, Portable switched his focus to Instagram, announcing that his priority has shifted from courting controversy to prioritizing financial gain. Portable has also announced a hike in his show appearance fees, stating that he now demands N20 million per performance.

In his characteristic manner, Portable stated that individuals who are unable to afford his new fee should refrain from booking, as he is currently focused on finding money and not dealing with unnecessary issues. If you get twenty million naira for just showing up, leave the country. When a dog runs, the money also escapes. He can be reached directly for show bookings, and he is currently active.

Since the announcement was made, it has elicited responses from fans and industry analysts, who are now discussing whether the artist’s new pricing model is reasonable in today’s entertainment industry.
