The owner of a portable music system has implicated his father in his ongoing dispute with the Ogun state government.

Nigerian singer Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, has publicly accused his father of mismanaging his funds and failing to provide him with support in his ongoing court battle against the Ogun State government.

The development stems from Portable allegedly assaulting Town Planning officials, resulting in the arrest and conviction of his associates in a Magistrate’s court.

In a recent social media post, the singer who popularized the name Tony Montana publicly criticized his father. He accused the other person of poor financial management and of not adequately defending him. The artist alleged that his father was accountable for constructing the residence that had triggered the dispute with government authorities.

The situation was further complicated by Portable’s father being unable to resolve matters with the authorities and subsequently avoiding law enforcement. The singer pointed out that his father’s actions were responsible for his run-ins with the law.
