Nigerian singer Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, has blamed a spiritual attack for his recent run-ins with the authorities in Ogun State.

The Zazu crooner has recently been declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command, following an incident in which he allegedly assaulted government inspectors who were seeking documentation for his building. After his wanted poster went viral, Portable turned to his Instagram stories to convey his distress, stating he is undergoing a spiritual attack and requires divine intervention.

The singer has been in the hospital for several days as a result of intense physical discomfort and is fervently praying for divine intervention. He also asked the Ogun State government to pardon him, citing his children as a justification for mercy.

Portable posted a picture of the injury on his back, claiming it was the result of a spiritual attack and thanking God for saving his life. “All this evil thing wey dey happen to me na spiritual attack, God save my life. I’m facing a lot of sickness all over my body, I’m taking care of myself pain in my body. Make Ogun state government forgive me.”

As the legal case continues to develop, it remains unclear whether his request for pardon will be taken into account by the relevant authorities.
