PinkPantheress is rapidly establishing herself as a long-term presence in the UK’s pop, garage, and pop music scenes. A singer from Bath, England has recently released another hit mixtape called Fancy That, which is being considered by some as a strong contender for project of the year. This past May, it was released with a nine-song tracklist that was concise.

The lead singles “Tonight” and “Stateside” have been extremely popular, with each garnering tens of millions of listeners. PinkPantheress has recently announced an “An Evening With PinkPantheress” tour, set to commence on October 24 in Brooklyn.

This will be the first time the “Boys a liar Pt. 2” hitmaker will headline a tour in the United States since their 2024 ‘Capable of Love ’24 Tour. PinkPantheress will perform “Stateside” in nine locations, with Brooklyn, Toronto, and Los Angeles each having two opportunities to see her in concert.

San Francisco, Oakland, and Chicago have her for one night only then.

Considering the excitement surrounding the project, we can only speculate on how quickly the tickets will be sold.

As PinkPantheress prepares for that release, she has decided to finally drop a long-lost SoundCloud demo that she had been holding onto. The song is titled “Close to you” and, according to Stereogum, she recorded it at the age of 19.

Her bubblegum vocals glide effortlessly over the danceable beat in this engaging, if brief, track. In contrast, the song’s theme is decidedly gloomy. It’s about someone she really likes, although this person is having difficulty opening up because of past relationship trauma.
