Pi’erre Bourne – Pop

Pierre Bourne, who is mainly known for being a highly acclaimed producer, will be releasing his next solo rap album in the near future. The film will be titled Made In Paris and it is due to be released on June 27. It will be his first solo release of any kind since his 2023 EP, Grails.

It has been in development for some time now and unfortunately has been plagued by delays. Many of these challenges have landed on Pi’erre Bourne, who has been dealing with a hectic schedule over the past year or so. He said in a tweet captured by Genius, “I just got exhausted from traveling, taking photos and filming.” He admitted that mixing the album, attending fashion events on the same day, and not getting any sleep is not something the label expects of him, but rather a challenge he sets for himself.

He also stated that he intended to release Sli’merre 2 before releasing Made In Paris. We’re finally receiving it in two weeks, and it’s a relief to be able to say that.

Pi’erre has given us one more taster in “Pop” before we proceed.

This is a very straightforward song that constantly tells the ladies to “Pop it, drop it”. The repetition of lyrics makes this song incredibly easy to remember and connect with.
