Peter Okoye Generates Attention Following A Heated Interaction With A User Online

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has addressed criticism on social media after a user claimed he was irrelevant without the defunct P-Square group.

The exchange occurred on X (formerly Twitter), where a user stated, “Sir, we don’t know you,” suggesting that only P-Square was recognized. Peter responded with several bucket emojis, a gesture he has recently used to mock critics by implying they are “crying.” When the user pressed further about his feelings on performing without his twin brother Paul, Peter continued to use bucket emojis.

This interaction follows a recent comment from another user who advised him to “swallow his pride” and reconcile with his brother. Peter dismissed this suggestion, telling the user to “cry more” and offering them a pail.

In a different post, Peter made a clear statement about the group’s status. In response to another tweet, he declared that P-Square no longer exists, indicating that he now operates solely as a solo artist. He noted that Paul Okoye and their older brother Jude Okoye are continuing together, while he has moved on with his individual career.

Peter’s direct responses have sparked discussions online, with fans reacting to his comments and the renewed focus on the split of the once-popular music duo.
