Olamide releases a party-prepared anthem called “Hybrid,” which is currently at the top of the music charts.

The infectious song “Hybrid” is full of restless energy, its core being made up of the spiritual rhythms of Fuji.

Olamide’s verse is infused with Yoruba rhymes, which blend harmoniously with the beat’s structure, underscored by the talking drum rhythm.

The song is a guaranteed party and club anthem, lighting up the dancefloor with its unmissable hook, “shonye, shonye, shonye, shonye.”

Olamide’s talent for combining traditional Yoruba rhythms with contemporary Afrobeats is encapsulated in the term “Hybrid,” which effectively connects the past to the present sonically.

The song “Hybrid” was produced by Magicsticks and taken from Olamide’s recently released 11th studio album, “Olamidé”.

The song’s production and memorable chorus have already triggered viral dance challenges on TikTok, thereby increasing its potential as a club hit.

Before the album’s release, Olamide released two singles: “Kai!” which includes Wizkid, and “99”, a collaboration with Seyi Vibez, Asake, Young Jonn, and Daecolm.

The album “Olamide” serves as a follow-up to Olamide’s previous EP, “Ikigai / 生き甲斐, Vol. 1” (2024) and his album “Unruly” (2023).
