Offset is cheering for Cardi B’s new album AM I THE DRAMA? to be a huge success because they have a family to support. On Tuesday (September 9), TMZ spoke with the rapper known for “Ric Flair Drip,” and he made it clear there is no rivalry between him and the mom of his kids.

When asked if he thinks both Cardi and her new album will get nominations for Album of the Year, probably at the Grammys, Offset replied confidently, “Definitely. ” He also dismissed the idea of them competing directly with each other, saying, “Never. No, no, no.”

“I just want peace for everyone,” he stated. “For us to succeed, everyone has to succeed. We have kids to take care of, and we need to celebrate our wins. ” The two share three kids together. Their first child, Kulture, was born in the same year Cardi’s album Invasion of Privacy came out, and they had Wave a few years later.

In 2024, Cardi revealed she was expecting their third child, Blossom, while there were rumors of their divorce, which eventually turned out to be true. Even though they separated, they have always supported each other in raising their kids and in their music careers.

Since he was married to the artist behind “Bodak Yellow” for much of the time she was working on AM I THE DRAMA? , Offset is familiar with the album. “That’s really good,” he said about the 23 songs on it, which feature tracks like “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz. ” He added, “She’s going to really shine with this one too.”

Offset used the last song on Cardi’s album, “Move On,” to help him think through their difficult breakup. “I ended the album with that song to close that chapter because it’s time to move forward; it’s finished,” he explained to AP News. “It was good while it lasted. We shouldn’t focus on that anymore. It’s a closed book. ”
