Offset and JID made their appearance on the floor of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, September 8. The rappers collaborated on a rock-infused performance of “Bodies” with Drowning Pool, whose original song was used in the KIARI single.

“Before I had money, I was involved in a life of crime, kicking doors down, and I’m just being truthful / If you want a fight then we’ll provoke people like a scrambled egg, I’m just being honest / Throw me a $60 if I go to a Magic or Onyx show, I’m just being honest,” Offset rapped, with Ryan McCombs handling the chorus originally sung by the late Dave Williams.

During the middle of the performance, JID joined the set, which fans may identify from the therapy-oriented promotional clips preceding Offset’s KIARI, to contribute his verse. Watch the performance of “Bodies” below.

Last month, KIARI released music on streaming services, collaborating with artists including Teezo Touchdown, Ty Dolla $ign, Key Glock, Gunna, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, among others. The project involved him processing Takeoff’s passing on the John Legend-assisted “Never Let Go” and addressing his split with Cardi B on its closing track, “Move On.”

Offset told AP News that he finished the album with that song in order to conclude that chapter, as it’s time to move on from it; it’s now over and completed.” It was wonderful while it endured. Let’s move on from that topic for both of us. The book is shut.

A week after that, he released an expanded version of the album, a deluxe edition which included “Bodies (BNYX Mix)” — a track featuring Drowning Pool and BNYX — in addition to new songs such as “How Did We Get Here?” assisted by CeeLo Green and “Swing My Way.”

He is presently performing the songs on tour as part of YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “Make America Slime Again Tour.” The tour kicked off with consecutive sold-out performances at Dallas’ American Airlines Center on September 1, with additional dates booked across North America through November 12.
