Rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known professionally as Odumodublvck, has shared a notable moment in his career, when Afrobeats singer Wizkid gave him a substantial amount of money.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Blood on the Dance Floor’s lead singer revealed that Wizkid had surprised him with $20,000 in cash. What made the gesture even more remarkable, according to him, was that it came with no conditions attached.

Odumodublvck stated that the Ojuelegba artist had given him money even though he hadn’t contributed a verse to the song. Overwhelmed by the kindness, he confessed that he had never envisioned a day would arrive when Wizkid would bring him such happiness.

Odumodublvck playfully dismissed a fan’s suggestion that he must have recorded a verse in exchange for the gift with the words, “verse kor, verse ni,” and then expressed his excitement repeatedly with multiple “arghhh” reactions.

As the post gained momentum, another fan jokingly asked him to share some of the money he received. Wizkid was the one handing out the giveaways, not Odumodublvck.

Wizkid has offered assistance to Odumodublvck on previous occasions. Recently, a rapper disclosed how the Afrobeats performer supported him during a challenging time when he was confined to bed, a move he attributed with assisting in elevating his career.
