A heated discussion has centered around Olamide and Odumodublvck, two influential artists in Nigeria’s hip-hop industry.

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known professionally as Odumodublvck, confidently demonstrated his rapping abilities in a recent interview on the Afrobeat podcast with Adesope.

The rapper, who has been generating significant interest in the music industry, asserted that he has surpassed Olamide as Nigeria’s top hip-hop artist.

Four years ago, Olamide was widely regarded as the best in his field, however, since Odumodublvck’s rise to prominence, the perception has shifted. To be considered the greatest rapper, one requires a substantial portfolio of work to validate their assertion, notably including the release of a full-length album.

Odumodublvck also touched on his connections with other professionals in the industry during the interview. He disclosed that he does not have a close relationship with speed skater Speed Darlington, but rather sees him as a kind of role model or spiritual counterpart.

He also shared a strange story about meeting Burna Boy, saying that he had encountered the Last Last singer in a dream, where they both had pounded yam together.
