Normani Has Introduced Her First Clothing Brand In Collaboration With SHEIN, Stating, "I Want My Fans To Feel Empowered"

Normani is a talented R&B singer and has recently ventured into the fashion industry. On November 19, she announced her new clothing brand, NORMANI, in collaboration with SHEIN.

The announcement included a video of Normani showcasing various items from her first collection, such as a tie-dye halter dress, a fur coat worn over a fitted jumpsuit, and a mesh co-ord. In a press statement, Normani expressed that fashion has always been a form of self-expression for her.

She noted that SHEIN was an ideal partner for her brand due to their shared belief in making fashion inclusive and accessible. Normani stated her intention for fans to feel empowered to express themselves without financial concerns.

The debut collection features a range of clothing, including outerwear, office attire, dresses, and elevated basics. This collection marks the beginning of a series of releases planned for her year-long partnership with SHEIN. Normani mentioned that fans can anticipate items in “a lot of browns [and] earth tones,” as well as designs inspired by Y2K fashion.

There has been some hesitance regarding her collaboration with SHEIN, with certain comments suggesting that her fans deserve better. Normani highlighted affordability as a key reason for her partnership, emphasizing her awareness of the current economic climate and her desire to create a brand that is both luxurious and affordable.

Additionally, Normani indicated that she is entering a new chapter in her life, although it remains unclear if this will include new music. She released her long-awaited solo debut album, DOPAMINE, in 2024, featuring collaborations with artists such as Starrah, Gunna, James Blake, and Cardi B on the track “Wild Side.”

Since the album’s release, fans have seen her reunite with Khalid on the song “Personal” and collaborate with Ciara on the “Ecstasy (Remix)” alongside Teyana Taylor.
