A deeply spiritual, Afro-electronic odyssey called “Maithori” is the creation of three forward-thinking producers – Nitefreak, Frigid Armadillo, and IDRIS – who have collaborated with vocalist Nes Mburu. This track combines organic elements with hypnotic rhythm, drawing inspiration from Kenyan customs with “Maithori” roughly translating to “tears” or “feelings” in the Kikuyu language.
