It appears Nicki Minaj and Cardi B will not be resolving their dispute in the immediate future. The feud between the two prominent Hip Hop artists has escalated further, with their children now being drawn into the conflict on social media.

Previous reports stated that long-standing adversaries Cardi and Nicki began exchanging insults on social media platform X, previously known as Twitter. Nicki criticized Cardi’s new album, AM I THE DRAMA?, on Monday night, September 29, in now-deleted tweets. Bardi retaliated with equal ferocity, and the situation quickly escalated.

That was only the beginning. On 30 September, Nicki posted a tweet that mentioned Cardi’s daughter, Kulture. A series of tweets from the New York City-based rapper began with “Barney B & kulture vulture.” She snapped back, “You’re a culture vulture and you’re ugly too.”

That’s when Cardi’s reaction escalated, but unfortunately, her outburst also included an unconfirmed claim that Nicki’s son is neurodivergent. “You have no right to suggest that my daughter is unattractive.” Cardi wrote on X, “Kulture is beautiful, and you know that.” “Your intense hatred stems from the severe harm you caused your non-verbal son due to substance abuse, leading to jealousy of other children’s happiness.”

Despite being pregnant, Cardi then invited Nicki to engage in a fair fight. She tweeted, “You’re trying to provoke a confrontation with me because I’m extremely pregnant, yet you never display that level of aggression when we meet in person.” I’ve seen you at two Met Galas and you’ve never displayed that level of energy… BUT WHERE ARE YOU NOW???? MY NIKKAS ARE WAITING OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW WHERE ARE Y’ALL NOW???

The language and personal insults continued to deteriorate and become even more vicious on both sides, which really isn’t worth encouraging. Supporters of both rappers are firmly taking their respective positions. Fans are adamant that their preferred female rap artists are blameless.

Whether someone is correct or incorrect is open to interpretation and personal opinion. The reality is that Cardi B’s new album achieved platinum status on its release day and has maintained a successful rollout. Even without the rap beef.
