The female rappers are engaged in a public feud once more. Nicki Minaj directed a derogatory comment at Cardi B’s “AM I THE DRAMA?” on the evening of Monday, September 29, via several since-deleted tweets.

Minaj simply wrote “$4.99” in one post, an apparent reference to the price of Cardi’s new album on iTunes. The “FTCU” rapper then tweeted a parody of “Barbie Dangerous” titled “Barney Dangerous,” mocking the soon-to-be mother of four’s verse on “Magnet.”

On the original track, Cardi raps, “A-B-C-D-E-F-G, these women can’t compete with me.” The lyrics were entirely rewritten by Minaj. “Abcdefgeeeee / Falling completely out of favor with a large stomach / Operating trains,” her post read. The smell still lingers even though you’re barefoot. Not. Outsell. Meeeeee.”

In its first week, AM I THE DRAMA? reportedly shifted 200,000 album-equivalent units, according to Billboard’s Sunday report on September 28. Those numbers are still extremely impressive, but they narrowly miss Minaj’s Pink Friday 2, which debuted with 228,000 units in 2023.

Minaj also posted that Cardi should go run and tell Desiree Perez and JAY-Z about the situation. The Bronx rapper was also accused of falsely claiming that her mother was from Trinidad.

Cardi B hilariously shot back at Minaj for disrupting her day on a “damn Monday,” at that. “I was seriously cooking ribs and making blondie brownies and then this woman started bothering me,” she tweeted alongside a photo of the ribs.

“Cardi joked, ‘Damn, she was really blasting ‘Magnet’ incredibly loudly, huh?'”. She subsequently argued that Minaj should not be measuring herself against her. You’ve been in the game for around 16 years. She advised comparing oneself to peers who began their careers around the same time, and cited examples such as Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Drake.

I was in high school when your album was released. The tweet went on to say, “Why are you comparing yourself to me for?” Cardi B later stated that Minaj was unable to replicate her claims and launched a verbal attack on her husband, Kenneth Petty, who had a prior conviction for attempting to rape a minor. There’s a lot to process, so see the “Pretty & Petty” rapper’s tweets below while they’re still available.

Ice Spice and JT’s Twitter Posts during Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s Most Recent Dispute

A limited number of other female rappers seemingly interjected on the Cardi B controversy. The exchange between Minaj, Ice Spice, and JT. “Munch (Feelin’ U)” tweeted a face with a hand over its mouth emoji. Following a reported phone call in which Cardi allegedly threatened her, the artist posted a song previewed as “Pretty Privilege” shortly after midnight on 30 September.

In contrast, JT launched a direct attack. The woman was at home, extremely ugly, and enraged. The City Girls alum declared “no celebration.” She added, “I would have been breakdancing right now if I were No. 1, but she knows she lied.” JT and Cardi rekindled their dispute last week over Cardi’s “Magnet”.
