Mr Real Criticises D’Banj In An Intense Interview

Afrobeats veteran D’banj is accused by singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, also known as Mr Real, of exploiting him during their joint working period.

In a recent interview, Mr Real stated that following two years of working under D’Banj, his only profit was $500.

He claimed to be an ambassador for D’Banj’s CREAM brand but never received any significant advantages, despite repeated assurances from the Koko Master. D’banj was allegedly gifted a car to hand over to him, but he kept it for himself, knowing he didn’t own one at the time.

D’banj severely criticized me. It is reportedly claimed that he did. Spend two years with a man and the most you will have gained is $500. Mr Real remarked in the interview, “What manner of wickedness and selfishness is that?”

This marks the second time the Legbegbe crooner has publicly criticized D’banj. In 2023, he accused him of not keeping his financial commitments and of holding back his share of earnings from their 2018 project, Issa Banger.
