Afrobeats musician Mr Eazi has postponed the launch of his eagerly awaited EP Maison Rouge, which was supposed to come out on September 25, and is now set for October 29.

This seven-song project will release via his label emPawa Africa and will include songs he has already shared like Casanova, Corny, and his newest release, Love Me Now.

The recording took place at the Hotel Maison Rouge in Cotonou, Benin, the same place that inspired many songs from his 2023 album The Evil Genius. Just like his past music, Maison Rouge will showcase Mr Eazi’s unique way of telling stories that are both personal and thoughtful. Fans can look forward to a blend of fun and emotional songs, such as Casanova, which playfully explores love and temptation with a music video filmed in Barcelona, and Corny, a smooth love song that highlights his singing abilities. His track Attention, which was part of a popular Formula 1 movie soundtrack, also creates excitement for this new project.

The update about the changed release date comes during a remarkable year for him. In July, Mr Eazi got married to actress and wealthy heiress Temi Otedola in a private ceremony in Iceland, an event that gained a lot of attention across Africa. Besides his music career, he is also busy with his emPawa Africa initiative, which helps support and develop upcoming artists in Africa.

Although there are no tour plans for 2025 yet, excitement for Maison Rouge is building as fans eagerly wait for October 29 to discover Mr Eazi’s latest musical evolution.
