Metro Boomin – Slide ft. Roscoe Dash

Metro Boomin Slide Roscoe Dash

Metro Boomin has recently made a surprise announcement by releasing a new single titled “Slide.” The aspiring WWE collaborator is showcasing his wrestling belts, indicating his readiness to claim another title from his rivals this summer, as demonstrated by the accompanying visualizer.

Equally surprising is the inclusion of Roscoe Dash, a first-time collaborator, in this track. Dash was one of the prominent feature rappers during the 2000s and early 2010s, but his activity has significantly decreased in this decade, making his participation all the more unexpected. However, the upbeat production allows the Atlanta MC to effortlessly glide over the track (pun intended).

Metro is undoubtedly skilled at creating more lighthearted songs like this one, so it will be exciting to hear the overall sound of this upcoming mixtape. The St. Louis native shared this news just an hour ago on his social media platforms, accompanied by the same Independence Day-themed video.

“MIXTAPE OTW 🫨 7/??/25 🧨🧨🧨” he wrote in the caption of the clip. Fans and fellow hip-hop artists, including Quavo, are thrilled about this release. Quavo commented, “Let’s roll,” on the Instagram post, possibly hinting at his involvement in this unnamed project.

This will mark the first Metro Boomin tape since his prolific output in the early part of 2024. During that time, he released collaborative tapes with his sister, titled WE DON’T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU.

Both projects had a much more serious tone, particularly as they contributed to what may be the most significant rap feud in history between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. However, this time, Metro appears to be focused on providing uplifting vibes as we embrace the summer heat (both literally and figuratively).
