Megan Thee Stallion recently announced an opportunity for “academic hotties” to apply for a grant provided by her nonprofit organization. On Saturday, January 24, she shared this call for applications through her Instagram, highlighting the Best In Class Award Grant, which is sponsored by Toyota and presented by her Pete & Thomas Foundation.

The grant aims to award five students and five teachers with $5,000 each to help them achieve their educational and professional objectives. Eligible college students must currently be enrolled in a two- or four-year institution and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7. For educators, a minimum of five years of experience teaching at the K-12 public school level is required. All applicants must also show evidence of financial need.

Megan has consistently shown her commitment to education and philanthropy. In December 2021, she graduated from Texas Southern University with a degree in Health Administration, fulfilling a promise to her late mother to complete her college education.

The Pete & Thomas Foundation was established in memory of her parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete III. The foundation held its first gala in July 2025 in New York City, raising over $1.2 million to further its mission of supporting education, housing, and wellness in underserved communities.

The announcement also mentioned that the foundation recognizes the efforts of both students and educators and aims to support their journeys. Following the review of applications by a selection committee, grant recipients will be informed of their awards. Additional details are available on the Pete & Thomas Foundation website, with a deadline for applications set for February 11.
