A lesson from Katt Williams’ 2024 “Club Shay Shay” interview is that it’s unwise to cross comedians. Soulja Boy unfortunately learned a tough lesson from Marlon Wayans just earlier in the week.

Soulja Boy addressed X on Monday, February 10, criticizing the comedian for stating Soulja Boy was “canceled” and only attended Donald Trump’s Liberty Inauguration Ball in order to stay relevant. Marlon Wayans is completely unacceptable and lacks genuine comedic talent. Stop speaking and refrain from further conversation. The Chicago native forcefully advised continuing to compromise personal integrity by engaging in subservient behavior towards those in positions of authority.

Wayans promptly retorted: “That’s the guy who supposedly jumped over the moon.” Soulja Boy humorously took the opportunity to counter White Chicks. The rapper retorted, “You are a 52-year-old Black man who is dressed like a white woman.” The person who actually did the c**n job broke an individual’s n**ga.”

Marlon Wayans Had A Number of Surprising Techniques Hidden Away.

Wayans waited long enough for Soulja Boy to believe he had the upper hand. The “Pretty Boy Swag” artist made further jabs during his Instagram Live session, which included additional comments about Wayans’ part in the movie White Chicks.

What he hadn’t foreseen was that the actor from A Haunted House had the time, and seemingly also the budget, to do so. Wayans mocked him for supposedly retiring after just two songs, “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” and “Kiss Me Thru The Phone,” and then took the conversation further by posting their DMs online for everyone to see on February 11.

According to appearances, Soulja Boy contacted Wayans on two separate occasions regarding a potential movie part. His initial direct message, sent in May 2016, was “Put me in a new movie.” In October 2024, he attempted once more: “Make me a part of the new film, my older brother.”

Soulja Boy certainly wasn’t going to accept defeat without a fight. In an attempt to level the playing field, he posted a screenshot of the comedian asking him to endorse 2017’s Naked, a movie that, while acknowledged, is not one of Wayans’ finest performances.

Soulja Boy is at odds with numerous individuals.

Soulja Boy had a lengthy record of celebrity feuds prior to his disagreement with Wayans, which included disputes with musicians and comedians. In 2023, he took a leave from J. Cole admitted to being initially resistant to listening to his music, but ultimately developed a strong affection for it. It ultimately transpired that the entire situation was a case of miscommunication, and it was Nicki Minaj who intervened to resolve the issue.

In 2024, the founder of SODMG Records launched a verbal attack on B. DaBaby caught a brief jab in the middle of a shot where Simone was criticizing people for not wanting to listen to his music. In the same year, Soulja Boy made light of Meek Mill, Metro Boomin, 21 Savage, and Blueface, among others, in his jokes.
