Logic – Severed Ties

Logic Severed Ties

Logic released a single from his upcoming project, titled Sidequest, on Friday, along with its accompanying music video. “He raps about severing ties with people who aren’t genuinely supportive in ‘Severed Ties.'” “He can’t grasp that, absolutely not, you can’t turn a profit / You can’t turn a profit, so I need to cut ties,” he raps.

Logic’s music video, directed by Fabian Pacheco and Patrick J Servais, features the rapper riding in a Ford Bronco, surrounded by large sums of money. Audiences in the comments are enthusiastically responding to the track. He’s demonstrating a lot of versatility, and it appears to be enjoyable for him to showcase it through these shorter, more straightforward songs. “It’s great,” one fan wrote. Logic’s recent work is truly exceptional, and as a musician, everyone’s ultimate goal is to create meaningful and outstanding music, which Logic has achieved during his Bad Bish era, and it’s receiving a lot of support.

“Severed Ties” is one of several singles released by Logic from his Sidequest project. In April, he released “ITS A FEE” as the lead single, with “EVERYONES DEAD ALREADY,” “SOLD OUT,” and “GoROUND” following in May. The following month, he released “BLEED.” The remainder of Sidequest has yet to receive a release date, which will be his tenth studio album and the first since Ultra 85 in 2024. He previously mentioned Playboi Carti as an inspiration for the project’s sound in an interview with TMZ.
