Logic – BLEED

Logic BLEED

Logic returns with another contribution from his upcoming project Sidequest, “BLEED”, which has been described as his attempt at trap rap in the style of Playboi Carti, a move that received a lukewarm response from many fans and Carti supporters.

The polarising rapper is enthusiastic and prepared to experiment with this style, even if it alienates a large number of listeners. No release date for Sidequest has been announced yet, but we have been given a generous batch of singles. Since April, Bobby Tarantino has suspended releases of “ITS A FEE,” “EVERYONES DEAD ALREADY,” “SOLD OUT,” and “GoROUND.”

As we mentioned earlier, “BLEED” is the latest addition to this rollout. This particular track fails to reach the two-minute mark, much like some of the others mentioned. The production has a distinct Pi’erre Bourne vibe, characterized by its lighthearted, video game-inspired synthesizers and Auto-Tune harmonies.

The track feels unfinished, with an excessive repetition of lyrics and a general lack of depth, resulting in “BLEED” being somewhat unimpressive overall.

With the full album on the horizon, maybe there will be more standout tracks to be had. For now, we will simply have to wait for the LP announcement. Take a listen to Logic’s single with the link provided.
