The Cash Money-No Limit Verzuz event brought numerous stars to ComplexCon in 2025. Unfortunately, Lil Wayne was not among them. B.G. stated that Lil Wayne had to go to the hospital.

On Friday, October 31, when “The Breakfast Club” aired, B.G. stated, “I spoke with Wayne the morning prior to the Verzuz and, you know, he wasn’t feeling well. Since he had a concert at Drai’s Nightclub that same night, he cancelled that event as well.”

The “Bling Bling” rapper further added that Swizz Beatz was “hurt” by the situation, particularly given that Wayne was the primary reason he “pulled the trigger on it.” He went on to say, “Shorty wasn’t feeling well because he was definitely supposed to be there.” He mentioned to me that he wasn’t feeling well and that he needed to go to the hospital or so to speak.

B.G. later told Wayne that they’re no longer spring chickens. “He made it clear that his health had to be in order and that he needed to get some rest.” “After 35 years of continuous running, it’s essential to ensure you get adequate rest and maintain the overall well-being of your body and health.”

As for whether fans will be able to see Weezy onstage during the anticipated Cash Money-No Limit tour, B.G. replied, “I can’t answer that, you know what I mean?” Cash Money performed several of Wayne’s biggest hits during their set at the Las Vegas Convention Center last Saturday (October 25). The lineup comprised “Go DJ,” “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy,” and “I Miss My Dawgs,” amongst others.

It’s worth noting that Wayne has cancelled several shows in the past few months. He withdrew from his performance in Toronto at Budweiser Stage in August due to an “unforeseen illness.” His Oklahoma City concert was cancelled the following month, KOCO 5 News reported.
