Lil Wayne – Miami (Remix) ft. Morgan Wallen & Rick Ross

Lil Wayne Miami Remix ft. Morgan Wallen Rick Ross

Country singer Morgan Wallen unexpectedly debuted a remixed version of his song “Miami” at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami this July, which includes guest artists Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.

The pivotal moment arrived during the opening procession of his two-night engagement, when many anticipated the live premiere of “I’m the Problem,” the title track from his 2025 chart-topping album. Instead, Wallen presented a genre-bending collaboration that combined country grit with Southern rap swagger.

The updated rendition of “Miami” reworks the trap-influenced essence of the original to create a hazy summer anthem. Lil Wayne begins the remix with his distinctive Auto-Tuned delivery, combining clever one-liners with Miami references.

He also riffs, “like Morgan, boy, I’m wildin’ in Miami,” with a reference to Wallen’s name. Rick Ross delivers a brooding, reflective verse that floats above The Alchemist’s moody production, exploring themes of grief, wealth, and loyalty.

Wallen maintains the chorus in its original form. His distinctive vocals juxtapose Tennessee’s tranquility with Miami’s frenetic lifestyle, referencing “MIA” as both a location and a state of being. In addition to this, he revisits his previous hit “Sand in My Boots,” linking his country origins to the remix’s new path.

The move marks the latest development in Wallen’s genre-crossing career trajectory. He continues to collaborate with renowned hip-hop artists while still remaining true to his own unique style.
