Lil Wayne has suggested that his album, Tha Carter VI, may be released this summer, as indicated in a Cetaphil commercial aired on Thursday, February 6. The advertisement, titled “We’re all a Lil Sensitive,” features a 1.5-minute segment in which the rapper provides comfort to individuals during their vulnerable moments.

In one notable scene, he responds to a father who discovers a condom in his daughter’s male friend’s wallet, exclaiming, “D**n, that’s sensitive.” In another instance, the creator of Funerals offers moisturizing cream to a woman whose boyfriend declined to kiss her on the jumbotron.

Towards the conclusion of the video, an invitation to Super Bowl LIX is extended to Lil Wayne, which he declines, stating, “Nah, this is time-sensitive.” This remark precedes a close-up of his studio door, which bears the message, “Do not disturb ‘til June 6, 2025.”

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Lil Wayne expressed, “What attracted me to this project was the chance to flip the script. Showing a sensitive side isn’t a weakness — it’s a power. There’s nothing more real than turning those types of moments into a display of strength.” He further elaborated, “This campaign made perfect sense to me. The world knew I was disappointed, but what they didn’t know was that it made me determined to deliver something way bigger.”

The “A Lil Sensitive” campaign serves as a lighthearted reference to Lil Wayne not being chosen as the headliner for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show on February 9. Despite the event occurring in his hometown of New Orleans, the honor ultimately went to Kendrick Lamar.

Following a period of social media discussions, the artist known for “Mona Lisa” addressed the situation in a detailed Instagram video. “It hurt a whole lot,” Lil Wayne confessed. “Thanks to all of my peers, my friends, my family, my homies on the sports television and everybody repping me. I really appreciate that, I really do. I feel like I let all of y’all down by not getting that opportunity, but I’m working on me, and I’m working.”
