Leon Thomas, BigXthaPlug, Chance the Rapper, and Ciara will participate in welcoming 2026 during “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.” On December 2, the annual broadcast announced its lineup, which features a variety of notable artists.

In addition to the aforementioned performers, viewers can anticipate appearances by Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, and 6LACK representing the rap and R&B genres. DJ Cassidy will present his “Pass the Mic Live!” segment, featuring acts such as Busta Rhymes, T.I., and Wyclef Jean. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the main headliner for Times Square and additional special guests will be revealed at a later date.

The show will begin on December 31 at 8 p.m. ET and will run longer than previous years, incorporating an additional 1.5 hours of content. The celebrations will commence in New York and will also include locations in Las Vegas, Chicago, and Puerto Rico. The complete lineup is available for review.

Many of the artists mentioned are either having significant success this year or are on the rise. For instance, Thomas is the most-nominated R&B artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards, scheduled for February, and he is currently touring as part of his “Mutts Don’t Heel Tour.”

6LACK received a nomination for his work on JID’s “Wholeheartedly.” BigXthaPlug released his project I Hope You’re Happy, collaborating with prominent figures in country music, such as Luke Combs and Post Malone, who is also set to perform at “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

Ciara made a return in August with her album CiCi, which includes tracks like “This Right Here” featuring Latto, “How We Roll” with Chris Brown, and the popular TikTok song “Ecstasy.” There is much to anticipate on December 31, from performances to setting New Year’s resolutions.
