LeBron James Was Featured In A New Advertisement Wearing A Drake NOCTA Jacket

LeBron James continues to wear Nike apparel, despite reports of a falling out with Drake. The NBA star appeared in a recent advertisement wearing a jacket from Drake’s NOCTA clothing line.

Once close friends, James and the Toronto rapper are believed to have distanced themselves since James collaborated with Kendrick Lamar. In late 2024, James was seen rapping along to Lamar’s song “tv off” before a Lakers game and attended Lamar’s concert on Juneteenth 2024 in Los Angeles.

The estrangement between James and Drake became more apparent in July 2025 when it was reported that Drake had covered a tattoo of James’ high school basketball jersey with that of reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Amid these developments, social media noted James wearing a yellow Nike x NOCTA L’Art Bala Tech jacket in a Canyon ad. On December 9, he shared a teaser video on Instagram about his collaboration with the bike manufacturer, stating, “@canyon always keeping my bikes looking and feeling good! They got another one on the way I can’t wait to show ya’ll.”

NOCTA is a sub-label of Nike created in partnership with Drake, featuring popular streetwear such as hoodies, tees, tracksuits, and sneakers, and was launched in 2020.

It is uncertain when James filmed the commercial. In an interview with Complex in September 2025, he commented on his relationship with Drake, acknowledging that they are in different places but emphasizing that there is still mutual respect.
