Latto & Ice Spice – Gyatt

Latto Ice Spice Gyatt

Latto and Ice Spice had a contentious relationship for a significant portion of 2024. The cause of their disagreement was not entirely transparent, but it was believed that it was (to some degree) a proxy conflict between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj that evolved into its own distinct issue.

In January of the previous year, Ice released “Think U The S**t,” which fans thought was a reaction to a line from Latto’s collaboration with Offset, “Fine As Can Be.” Latto continued to target Ice throughout the remainder of the year, while Ice chose not to respond.

The pair have apparently put their differences aside to collaborate on a new single in 2025. “Gyatt” emerged on Thursday, and it aligns perfectly with the typical sound of these two artists.

Produced by Pooh Beatz and several other contributors, “Gyatt” features Ice and Latto discussing men, reaching a level of explicitness they commonly exhibit on tracks of this nature. Latto appears to allude to the feud with Ice, as she raps “I s**t on h**s for sure, but I ain’t into scat,” which seems like a fairly direct reference to “Think U The S**t.”

Ice delivers arguably her strongest performance to date, blending seamlessly with the track’s atmosphere. Although her delivery is robust, the lyrics aren’t particularly noteworthy.

A video for the song has not been released, however the single’s cover art is a direct tribute to WWE. A wrestling-themed video could be just the thing to wrap up the beef in a symbolic way. For now, take a look at the song listed below.
