Although posse cuts, particularly those featuring entirely female artists, are uncommon in contemporary rap, Latto has outlined her ideal lineup. In an interview with Okayplayer, she mentioned the artists she would choose for a modern rendition of Lil’ Kim’s “Not Tonight (Ladies Night Remix).”

Latto stated, “Hmmm… probably me, Doja Cat, YKNIECE, GloRilla and Cardi B. I think that checks a lot of boxes and is unexpected.” She also identified her preferred producers: “My favorite producers are Pooh Beatz, Go [Grizzly] and Coupe, so definitely one or all of my boys.”

Many of the artists Latto mentioned are collaborators she has worked with previously. In September, she joined Cardi for “ErrTime (Remix),” marking their first collaboration since “Put It On Da Floor Again.” Additionally, Big Mama and Doja contributed to Summer Walker’s TikTok-viral track “Go Girl” in November.

Latto and GloRilla have multiple collaborations together, while YKNIECE is a more recent addition to the scene. According to Rap-Up’s Women In Hip Hop To Know Beyond The Major Stars list, YKNIECE has appeared on several significant tracks over the past year, including PLUTO’s “WHIM WHAMIEE” and Metro Boomin’s “Take Me Thru Dere.”

It is uncertain if another “Ladies Night” will take place, but there is potential for it to feature on Latto’s upcoming album, which she confirmed is being developed. She expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I’m working on a new album, and no lie, I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited to share a body of work.”

Regarding her last album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, she remarked, “I felt like I bet on myself and took a step into a new chapter. This is feeling like the new and improved version of that,” the Grammy-nominated artist added.
