Latto received favourable reviews for her most recent studio album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. The rapper received praise for her skills in rhyming and her stage presence, and “Blick Sum” was a standout illustration of this talent. She held the ominous tune in place solely by her captivating charm. The revised version might actually be even more superior. The new “Blick Sum” is notable for featuring an elusive artist on a guest verse, despite not being labelled as a “remix” on streaming platforms. It happens to be a good one.
Latto performs on her latest track, “Blick Sum.” The instrumental and the rapper’s swagger are both identical. The familiar “Blick Sum” remains unchanged until the 1:44 mark. Playboi Carti then emerges. You may not immediately recognize it as Carti on your first, second, or even third listen. The rapper has once more significantly changed his voice to the point where it is no longer easily identifiable. On “Blick Sum,” Playboi Carti somewhat resembles a more intense version of Danny Brown, akin to how he echoed Future on “ALL RED.” This new voice is likely to generate significant discussion about whether it is a groundbreaking innovation or utterly absurd. It appears Latto was not the one who would coax Carti out of seclusion, but here we are anyway. We will accept it.
