Latto And 21 Savage Announce Pregnancy In New 'Business & Personal' Video

Latto and 21 Savage have confirmed their relationship and announced that they are expecting a child together.

The announcement was made through a video for Latto’s new song “Business & Personal (Intro),” the lead single from her upcoming album titled Big Mama, set to release on May 29.

In the video, Latto reveals her baby bump while 21 Savage places his hand on her belly, though he remains out of view from the camera. The clip also features Latto looking through a pregnancy scrapbook showcasing childhood photos of both her and 21, and highlights a tattoo on her lower back that matches one on 21 Savage’s forehead.

In her song, Latto reflects on her journey in hip-hop and the challenges she has overcome, while also looking towards motherhood. “That bitch at the end of the day, Maybach, that’s the Benz of the day / Car seat, got a kid on the way,” she raps.

The tone of the track shifts from reflective to confident as Latto asserts her status over a trap beat inspired by T.I.’s “24s.” She addresses rivalries indirectly, stating, “These bitches hating, wish that they was living in my skin / I’m in a multi-million dollar crib playing Sims / I’m backing out the Barbies, trying not to scrape the rims.”

Latto also counters rumors regarding ghostwriting assistance from Drake, rapping, “Oh they think Crodie wrote it, (Pfft) well that’s a compliment.”

Big Mama will follow Latto’s 2024 album Sugar Honey Iced Tea, which debuted at number 15 on the Billboard 200, with approximately 29,000 units sold in its first week.
