Larry June Cardo Got Wings E 40 – Ya Feel Me

A West Coast cruiser perfectly captures the essence of a summer day, and fortunately, Larry June, Cardo Got Wings, and E-40 recently released another one to conclude June’s run. “Ya Feel Me” is the latest single from the upcoming collaborative album by June and Cardo, reportedly titled Until Night Comes.

The project’s previous singles are “Black Man” and “On The Unda,” and it is the sequel to the 2023 collaborative record, The Night Shift. It’s exciting to think about what’s next, particularly after experiencing the connection between these artists on their latest release.

Production-wise, Cardo Got Wings created an instrumental that equates to Larry June’s laid-back style as closely as it does E-40’s rugged edge. Western Coast synthesizers with a rubbery sound and sharp percussion tend more towards the latter, while airy and whistling synthesizers match up incredibly well with the former. Overall, it’s an exceptional presentation that maintains its energy while still offering a lot of atmosphere.

Lyrically, June and 40 are bringing their energetic and playful vibe to the forefront in this song, whether it’s about their everyday enjoyment, their rapping abilities, or their numerous accomplishments and luxuries. While Larry remains calm and composed, the renowned figure from the Bay Area brings out the intense and unrestrained lyrics.

A more relaxed change of pace towards the end of “Ya Feel Me” is the final touch. Given how well Life Is Beautiful with 2 Chainz and The Alchemist performed, we only anticipate Larry June to deliver again. In conjunction with Cardo Got Wings, this is a formula for achieving success.
