Details are coming out about T-Hood’s death that could mean the shooter might not face any charges. Officials say Ky Frost shot the Atlanta rapper because he felt it was necessary to protect himself.

In early August, T-Hood, whose real name was Tevin Hood and who was 33 years old, was shot and killed at his home in Georgia. Early news reports suggested that the fight that led to his death was connected to domestic issues. When the police arrived, they found T-Hood injured by gunfire, and he was rushed to a local hospital but was later declared dead.

About a week later, the police in Gwinnett County identified Ky Lasheed Frost as their main suspect. Ky is the son of Kirk and Rasheeda Frost, who are stars on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. ” T-Hood was thought to be dating their daughter, Kelsie Frost, and the shooting was described as stemming from a “domestic dispute. ” Everyone involved is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

According to TMZ, the investigation by the Gwinnett County Police Department has wrapped up. They believe Ky Frost shot T-Hood in self-defense. They found that T-Hood was seen as the one who started the fight that night by showing a gun. Ky had his own gun and was reportedly quicker to shoot.

Now, it is up to the District Attorney to decide if Ky will be charged, as he is waiting for the final report. The police also mentioned that T-Hood was labeled the aggressor in a previous domestic situation with Kelsie.

T-Hood was a popular and rising artist in the Atlanta Hip Hop music scene. Sadly, gun violence remains a serious issue across the country.
