Kid Cudi – Mr. Miracle

Kid Cudi Mr. Miracle

Kid Cudi has faced numerous challenges throughout his life. This was particularly true during the early 2010s when the Clevelander was reaching the height of his career. He made this clear in a recent interview with CBS Mornings, where he discussed his new book, Cudi: The Memoir.

In one section, he shares a near-fatal experience following a significant consumption of cocaine. In addressing that distressing episode, Scott Mescudi indicated that it helped him navigate his newfound fame. “I think I had a hard time dealing with the fame.” Despite the fact that the hard drug nearly cost him his life, he asserts that it ultimately prevented him from “blow[ing] my brains out.”

Overall, one could argue that this experience fortified him and has contributed to his continued presence in the music industry. He seems to reference this moment in some capacity in his song “Mr. Miracle.” “Call me Mr. Miracle / With my back against the wall / I was sittin’ all alone, now I get it, oh, now I get it.”

This serves as the third and possibly final teaser before the release of his upcoming album, Free, which is set to drop this Friday, August 22. Cudi showcases his vocal abilities as he passionately delivers them over a pop punk instrumental. The track is exceptionally catchy and powerful, infused with raw emotion and energy.

He has been hinting at a more alternative, pop, and pop punk sound with the earlier releases of “Grave” and “Neverland.” Be sure to listen to the latest track below.
